Accessibility

Our goal

We want anyone shopping for a vehicle to be able to use this website, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation or screen magnification. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a design target.

Conformance status

What we've built in

Semantic structure

Pages use real headings, lists and landmark regions so screen readers can navigate them in order.

Keyboard access

Navigation, buttons and form controls are reachable and operable with a keyboard, and focused elements show a visible focus ring.

Labelled controls

Every form field has a visible label tied to its input, and required fields are marked in text rather than by color alone.

Text alternatives

Content images carry descriptive alt text, and purely decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology.

Touch targets

Buttons and calls to action are sized for comfortable tapping on a phone, which is how most visitors reach this site.

No hover-only content

Important information is never hidden behind a hover, so it stays available on touch screens and to keyboard users.

Known limitations

The map showing our location is embedded from Google, and we don't control its accessibility. If the map is difficult to use, our full address is written out in text directly beside it, and we'll gladly give directions over the phone.
